Mr william J Hogarty I joined the army when i was 17 years of age, and had my 18th birthday in Aden, i travelled a lot in the army, and got myself married to a girl from where i came from Carlisle Cumbria UK I seved my time 10 years and decided to leave when my time was up because i felt with our 2nd child i would not have seen much of him as we were always away on active service.Never a lot of time for the family, and i don't think it should have married men in any of the services especially if they have children! I think it is unfair on the children, but i would certainly recommend it for single people i had a great time!
