My name is Tabitha. I'm 25 years old and from New York. I've been in the navy for almost three and a half years now and liking it, attached to a ship out of Norfolk. My interests include reading, writing, travel, fashion, cheese, wine, anything relating to music and the arts, shopping, museums, culture, and men. I am a christian with good morals and strong convictions and am hoping to meet a guy who values, respects and appreciates that about me. But enough about me, let's talk about you now. My perfect match is not perfect. He is a flawed person, and understands that I am a flawed human being as well. He's not abusive or controlling but at the same time not a dormat either. He isn't a chauvinist who sees women as being the "weaker gender" but at the same time he is also living proof that chivalry is not dead. I prefer an average looking man to a Brad Pitt look alike (looks are a plus but I generally find myself more attracted to average joes than to extremely good looking men - of course I wouldn't rule you out, but personality and character turn me on more that good looks). I'm not looking for a man who doesn't work. Deadbeats are out of the question as are workaholics. I need somebody who is actually going to be there. I'm a low maintenance girl and while I don't mind keeping it cheap most of the time, every now and then I like to splurge. While I'm independant, I want a man who doesn't mind working to make me happy every now and then (I'm very easy to please so it won't be hard). Somebody who values his family and will go out of his way to put the women in his life on a pedestal is also a turn on for me, but most of all, I want a man who believes in Jesus and will put him first and foremost in his life, because you don't find that to much in this military.
