war being on the right side and standing up for your country,fighting for what is right - I worked as unit typist and later joined the RHODESIAN WOMEN SERVICE to my country - being a loyal citien - my late husband was also in the Rhodesian army served with School of Signals and then moved on the RAR and attained the rank of 2Lt - I was in the army for four years - attained the rank of CPL acting Sgt- left because I was pregnant with my 4th child - and when the army intergrated just after UDI I worked as typist at the Dept of SOCIAL SERVICES - and then immigrated to South Africa in 1981 - where my husband continued with him military career and on his passing in 1999 he attained the rank of COL in the SA DEFENCE FORCE - I worked at the AIR FORCE base civillian as their unit typist- until they also gave way - and I left after 7 years. now I am retired
