From Protest to Admiration From being an anti-war, anti-military protestor in the late 60s I've come to regret the error of my ways many, many times since. I've now great admiration of & respect for the heroic, the noble, the self-sacrificing, the genuinely patriotic. Loyalty to country & tradition has been an under-appreciated value, whether among the mercenary or the educated classes.
