The moon glistening through the storm

Crystals dance from up above

Softly falling on her eyelashes

Missing his touch, his love

An echo in the the depths of her soul begin

Her heart clenched by the fist of life set in


"I walk for miles"

As she turns the corner to a road with no end

"Along the highway"

Eyes that needs embraced by her best friend


"I stop to see a weeping willow"

The wind picking up, howling across her face

"Cryin on his pillow"

A thorn catches her dress, tearing the lace


The cloth lay in her hand tattered and torn

Crystals of snow glittering in the moonlight

Leaning upon their tree

Holding another memory tight



"Just hoping you may be"

Letters lost, no date of return

"Searching for me"

Never letting go that their fire still does burn




"Stars shining bright above you"

She raises her head, chills to the bone

His voice always there whenever she felt alone

Shadows creating form

Footsteps dancing within her heart

She raises her head for a closer look

Cradling her head in his hand

He leans down catching her eyes

Pressing against her on the same piece of

Dropping his bag at their feet

Lips separated by only a beam of light

Eyes closing, a slow strong embrace

Igniting a long awaited kiss for many a night
