Hello: My name is Randy and I am a 36 year old widower serving in the USN. My current Assignment is CAG aboard USS Harry S Truman (CVN 75) - Backing up a bit - I was born on a Ranch near the small Arizona town of Shonto. My parents -both deceased - were the best a son could ask for;and they instilled in me the core values of Duty, Honor, Loyalty and Love that still dominate my personality to this day. At 18 I was accepted into the Naval Academy at Annapolis. I graduated 3rd in my class. Becoming an SNA, I spent the next few years grinding through the stress and training of becoming a Naval Aviator. After my 'winging' I was assigned to the USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63),flying F-14 TomcatDs - I saw a bit os action - got nicked twice and ended my "cockpit career" with the following citations - DFC NDSM SS LoM PH(2). - On June 4,1990 I was blessed with the honor of joining Capt Katherine Marie Stennis-Ford in Holy Matrimony. Kathy and I lived and loved every second of the next 16 years. On Dec 24,2006 - Kate passed away from breast cancer. She was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetary with Full Military Honors and a Special Presidential Citation for her courageous fight against an unbeatable foe - cancer. With Kate's death my world went gray. I am trying to pick up the pieces but a friend to help would be so welcome. If you have any questions, please ask. Thanks Randy
