i love to travel and i've been all over the world, many times to do charitable public art projects in third world countries, just to bring more beauty to them - india, vietnam, korea, thailand, taiwan, jamaica, and i've also traveled all over europe, especially to italy (mom was born there and i speak fluent italian), and i've lived on both sides of the US too (orlando, boston, san francisco, wash DC). i currently travel back and forth between the my main 'home base' of the bay area of SF and new orleans, because i have 3 houses there that are mostly rented (and still standing after katrina), and because of my love for that great city.
i spent 20 years in the software industry, but i never sit still, and i've also been a nearly full-time artist most of my life (as well as a manicurist, gym manager, aerobics instructor (for my college football team!), personal fitness trainer/body builder, and director of operations at an urgent care clinic). but mostly i've managed software engineers and focused on my art.
i have 3 dogs (all rescues), which i love more than anything - they are my babies - and i volunteer for a miniature pinscher rescue group.
when i was younger, i followed in my brother's footsteps a bit (he just retired and was an F4 pilot out of the AF academy) and i joined the civil air patrol when i was in junior high school. i think i look pretty good in fatiques and combat boots, running around in the woods looking for lost airplanes!
i'm looking for someone who is not afraid of change - because i'm sure you can see from the above that i am not afraid of it one bit!
