Snowdrop Well I completed 12 years in the Royal Air Force as a policeman. Why snowdrop? Well due to our white topped hats that we wore so our nickname in the Air Force was snowdrops. I joined the air force as a sense of duty to my country. I felt and still do that out of a sense of duty I had to give something back to my country and by doing military service I was doing just that. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Air Force and if I had to do it again then I would.
