For now I am looking for someone to date. I LOVE dating. I love courting. I like the personal interaction. I like the conversation. What I don't like is being a homebody that can't seem to motivate myself out of the house except to go to work. I would like to find a woman that knows the value of things. When I talk value, I don't mean cost. I mean what it really takes to attain anything in life. I don't want someone who takes everything in her life for granted...especially me. I want a woman who can appreciate what it is that I have to do and what I have done to provide a life for myself and possibly her. I want someone who knows that the value in flowers, chocolate, dinner and the like does not rest solely in what was spent, but what the intended purpose or meaning was.

I am a father. My two sons are the biggest source of my happiness and they are my inspiration. Although they do not live with me, they are my life. Indirectly and sometimes directly everything I do is for them. I know that information won't help me find anyone, but it is important information for anyone who will enter my life even casually.

I have been a Soldier for 15 years. In 4 years I may decide to end my career with the Army, but for now I can't imagine doing anything else. I knew I was going to be a Soldier when I was extremely young. I remember seeing Reagan on TV talking about America's greatness and I just knew right then that I would be a soldier.

As far as my job goes, I am a satellite systems guru for the Army. I have an uncanny ability to make any kind of satellite system work. I am good at what I do and I enjoy it.

I am not sure what to expect from this site. I am not even sure what I want, but friends is always a good start.
