Life is an Adventure! I'm very active but haven't found ability to stop & seek the master who made me able to be active. I love the ocean, a hot drink on a cold night in a blanket in front of the fire, a brisk morning run, cuddling with my daughter, the red and blue M&Ms although they all taste the same, the smell of vanilla, the smiles of my students when they achieve a long awaited goal! My biggest pet peeves: chewing with an open mouth (bad table manners), FEET (I just don't any of them, lol), rudeness, & purposeful stupidity. I have a passion for people & seek ways to help others often; a weakness for well-written short works/poetry with deep meaning & symbolism; I LOVE fall when leaves turn to bright colors & the air reeks of football season; my knees buckle at the sight of white cake smothered in cream cheese frosting. Although life knocks me down, it inevitably knocks me to my knees where the only one who gives strength empowers me to rise & stand strong. I am a single mom of a beautiful four year old daughter who is the light of my world & reminds me daily of a joy that as adults we fail to recognize & forget somewhere in our busy, career-centered lifestyles. I have three BAs & soon my Masters in Global Leadership Mngmt. I am addicted to education & children, so I teach HS English & LOVE IT! More than anything, I value family; above all, I seek to live everyday to the fullest! Those who know me best know I am many things, but patient? NOT one of them! Independent? YES! I was raised to be self-sufficient but leave a door open for someone who will add joy without the requirement to always take care of me. Do I NEED a man? No, but I would love for someone to share in my life, joys, experiences, in the adventure! I enjoy activities from reading a great book to dancing the night away! SPORTS (Football!) & HUMOR are a MUST for life! I love music-anything & everything-Frank Sinatra to Tim McGraw. TOP GUN is the best movie ever made, but I enjoy all types. I don't have a life outside
